An investigation, showcase and celebration of collaborative working practice within the arts.
This Is Why We Meet is a collaboration between Pat And Trevor, Wieden+Kennedy and the University of the Arts London.
The aim of This Is Why We Meet is to recruit six teams of students (four per team) from each of the colleges within the University of the Arts London to create a collaborative piece of interactive work. This Is Why We Meet is an experiment. It is a means of testing the potential of collaborative working practice within the arts.
Those selected will be working intensively for a one-week period, before showcasing their work within the window of Wieden+Kennedy on Hanbury Street, East London during July and August 2009.
If you are a student at the UAL, please visit www.thisiswhywemeet.com to apply.
Deadline for applications is Monday 29th June at 6pm.
If you are not a student, keep up to date with the developments of the experiment at www.thisiswhywemeet.com where we will be documenting the process.
