In 2008 Southwark Council supported Seizure, a contemporary art project that was housed at 151 -189 Harper Road. Now it has excitingly been shortlisted for this year's prestigious 2009 Turner Prize.
The Roger Hiorns installation was housed in one of the Elephant and Castle regeneration sites featured copper sulphate crystals grown from interior walls. Hiorns exploration of a chemical process resulted in the derelict flat being transformed into a magical cave of blue crystals.
