Latin American Forum launched

Southwark’s first Latin American forum was officially launched on Friday 20 March at La Distriandina at the Elephant and Castle - one of the most popular meeting places for Latin American communities in South London.
The event was a partnership between Community Action Southwark and the Volunteer Centre Southwark, with the aim of bringing together the Latin American communities based in the borough.
Performers at the launch came from Columbia, Bolivia and Peru, watch by over 150 people from Latin American countries. Audience members came from a total of ten different countries.

El pasado viernes 20 de marzo se realizo el primer Foro Latinoamericano en Southwark. Se llevo a cabo en La Distriandina; uno de los lugares mas populares para la comunidad Latina en Elephant and Castle en el sur de Londres.
El evento se llevo a cabo en conjunto con la Accion Comunitaria de Southwark (Community Action Southwark) y el Centro Voluntario de Southwark (Volunteer Centre Southwark), esto es con la finalidad de unir a la comunidad Latina basada en el ayuntamiento de Soutwark.
Mas de 150 personas de diferentes paises latinoamericanos gozaron del ambiente musical de grupos musicales de Colombia, Bolivia y Peru. Un total de diez paises latinoamericanos fueron representados en el foro.
