Elefest 2007 biggest yet

Elephant and Castle's annual creative festival, Elefest, enjoyed a record year with thousands of people coming from across London to watch a range of free events over nine days.
Highlights included outdoor film screenings in Iliffe Yard, Don Letts at the Groovy Movie Tent and the Coronet closing party with the Top Cats and Trojan Sound System.
This year’s Elefest was sponsored by Multiplex, Lend Lease, First Base, Oakmayne, Film London and the UK Film Council.
Planning is already underway for Elefest 2008 which will make full use of the new park at St Mary's Churchyard.
