Steeped in history and renowned throughout London, Elephant and Castle is set for a £1.5 billion facelift. Over the course of the next decade the Elephant will be transformed into a major town centre for London providing 5300 new homes, five open spaces, striking architecture and thousands of jobs for local people. The regeneration plans are set for action in 2005.
